Hmmmm. So my two days of practice for racing in Brazil (typically 30 degrees) will be sailing on my own in a Blizzard!

At the (would have been if not for the weather) RS Persuit race last weekend there was too much fog for us to even see the water!! But once everyone packed up and were going home, the fog cleared and a breeze got up.
There was no racing all weekend |

You could have drifted around the lake like us though (still mustn't complain at least we got to sail)

We were't allowed out 'incase the fog came down again'. We did feel jealous of all those people who did 'have a drift around the lake'.
Still there's always next weekend... |

and it's the last day of sailing at LSC before Easter. Not that I would sail, anyway; I haven't got anyone to look after the little one. ANNOUNCEMENT: If any of you is planning to join LancingSC next year, please do so, we're a very friendly club. The only condition is that you need to provide a non-sailing member to babysit the Commodore's lovely younger daughter! (wife, partner, grown-up offspring, granny, dog of respectable size... I'm not fussed, just let me sail ) - Thanks |

That sounds deppressing. We sail all winter but all the 'less enthusiastic' sailours stop sailing leaving me at the back of the fleet again.
