We entered the new X1 in a race. We rate bang on an RS400 so they entered us as an RS400, suggesting it was only possible to have known classes. Is this true, sailwave has a list of known classes? Can you not add a new class? How? What is the easiest way to change the results.
It seems bad policy to have us down as another class especially if results are being returned to RYA. Note I don't have anything to do with using Sailwave, but many of the places we go use it. |

You can create any entry you like in Sailwave. True, you can set it up so that it has a pre-entered list of classes with their PY's, but you can always click on 'New' and create an entry, then double-click on a cell to get such as this, which you can fill in how you like:

Also you can edit the ratings file. Usualy in programe files/ sailwave/ ratings.
It is just a text file, with commas seperating the entrys. Add a new line PY, X1, 950 Chris |
