The foils are all radical in design and crafted from the finest unobtanium - creating unimaginable levels of hydrodynamic lift even when in their bags.

I think there was a mention of an RS700 rig for starters.

Another false start, a problem with the jib foot height and pole length and generally still too much to fix to contemplate a launch today, even though it was a lovely day for a sail, so we're postponed til Fri morning, we're also still trying to source a kite.
I had a sit on it and a stroll round the deck, tried to imagine righting it, lifted it up, can definitely visualise sailing it, it's going to be in an entire different league than anything I've sailed before and no mistake, a virtual windsurfing pal came over to have a look and is equally impressed. All doubts I've had about doing this have gone, now I've seen it nearly together, annoyed once again with delays, but it is what it is, something thats never existed before so it all needs to be worked through. I'll bung some pics up on the blog in a mo, it certainly looks the business. Edited by G.R.F. - 10 Aug 11 at 8:22pm |

Graeme, can you mould something that pulgs the tunnel hull gap? Fit it and see if it makes a difference, if not remove the plug.... |

How are your wings attached? I see they appear to sit in channels, but what stops them jumping out of those? I appreciate you don't have the problem of two big lumps being perched on them, just your petite frame.

The wings are going to get held in by snowboard binding type ratchet straps, they're used to hold the two bits of two or three part kayaks we sell, so they'll be easy to get out yet I can crank them up real tight.
Er, don't understand why I should want to plug the gap, we went to great lengths to put it there in the first place, actually wondering id i should have made it bigger.
