How about some extra columns- showing the current champions? For two or three person boats, this MUST include crew names. I appreciate for the bigger keelboats full crew lists would be unwieldy. "historical" champion data could maybe be included on the mini attendence charts on each class page.

And adding even more complication... maybe each entry in the main table could include a link to the "Overall" nationals report, if it exists, on Y&Y?

That's something I've been thinking about - I just need to make it automatic as otherwise I've got over 1,000 links to add! I really should have thought about it when I first made the table but, as with many things on this site, it has grown organically and hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Is there a table in progress as the year goes on or do you
need to go to each class and check the entries?

You can check the page at any time of year, though it isn't always mentioned on the homepage.

Pretty incredible to see the wayfarer in 5th spot with 91
boats....Anyone know how the class managed to change that
around?

Oddly, I can't find a "nationals" report- unless they extracted GBR results from the "International championships" results (a fleet of over 100)

Yes, the Wayfarer does seem to have had a blip. Not much natural trend in 27-27-25-42-24-91 !!!

I see the GP14s managed a similar blip in 2003 when their Worlds were held just before/after the UK Nationals:
51-73-43-142-86-64-62

Firefly blip in 2006:
58-52-53-107-55-68

Enterprise in 2006:
56-67-72-107-56-53

And so on...

The Firefly blip was due to 60th anniversary celebrations - some of the others probebly are, too, when not due to preworlds or the like.
