Well I'm reasonably impressed, Looks like near cleanroom conditions, I've been in plenty of factories and boatyards and this looks pretty good in comparison, I do think though that Charlie's being a bit of a prick-teaser showing us these pictures and telling me April delivery, I really want one now. |

ChrisC - i'm sure if they had the time during the WEEK then they'd be only to happy to build you, your bespoke 'Racing Reliant Robin' but they are all go on building RS100's right now with the careful QC from Jim Hood and the rest of the CMI team. I have to say though that Reliant Robin racing could be the next thing... you might have something there - start of a new thread, who's in? Sorry for being a bit of a prick-tease though with the photo's. It proves though that they are on their way and i for one am looking forward to getting mine. |

I got to see the RS100 in the flesh at the SN and I like it a lot. unfortunately I am out of the demographic for the boat (10 stone is never going to work) can I offer the challenge of the shustoke gauntlet to you guys on the 14th feb to show how the boat will perform on restricted waters, because I know within the club there are many who are muttering in interest. |

Both Anthony York and myself will be at the Tiger Trophy this coming weekend sailing in two RS100's. Now i am no rock star as a sailor so don't expect anything too glam as far as results are concerned - remember i spend most of my days sat at a computer (like most of you guys it would seem) and when i do get to a sailing club, i'm generally stood on the shore watching, but i'm up for giving it a blast. So please come and find me and take a look at the boat in the flesh, or if it's too cold/windy (here's wishing for some wind!) then i'll be in the bar afterwards.

Maybe not a rockstar Charlie, but I think you can tell which is the front and which the back - have a great time.

"300 with stabilisers" Or "Two for D-One" Obviously meaning you could get two for the price of one D-one. or my favourite: "I went to LDC and ask for a long weight......This is what they came back with" Edited by Merlinboy |
