Thanks Mark. This will nicely complement the existing
Yahoo based SUG for those more comfortable in this sort of platform. CJ. |

Yeah, few teething problems :)
It's probably worth mentioning that once the data is there and you have problems with the RYA management stuff - there is a RYA forum to support that - Baz scans it. This forum and the SUG is the place for problems with getting it there - although some issues will merge and of course there are no hard and fast rules to speak of. I am doing some tweaks that will help... http://www.pys.org.uk/ Edited by sailwave |

Yep, this is a good thing, i never really got on with the yahoo groups thing at all. Hate the RS300 group too, why they can't have a "normal" forum is beyond me but thats beside the point. Its good that we, the users, can give feedback for both products, sailwave and PYS website, as the worst thing in the world would be for people to spend a lot of time and effort getting this system to a very useable state and then finding that all the users have become bored with it and it doesnt do what they want or need. I do hope Bas and Simon Lovesey both pop in here from time to time so that they can see if any of the issues cross over to the PY website too. Thanks for setting it up Colin and Mark! I'd almost be inclined to ask Bas to see if Mark would do a similar thing hosting a page for the PYS as their own dedicated forum doesnt see much traffic at the moment. |
