This dinghy is in the garage of the house we are buying. The owner does not know what it is but wants to sell it. Before I make an offer I really would like to know more about it. Does anybody know what it is and if the manufacturer is still in existence. Is there a class association for it? It is a GRP hull with a single sail and is approx 12 foot long. many thanks if you can enlighten me. |

If its a Marlin, then: Length: 13' 1". Beam: 5'6" Mast: 21'. Sail area: 104 sqft (racing) or 85 (cruising). Spinnaker: 85 sq ft. Weight: 215 lbs. Designed by Ian Proctor. Yardstick in those days (1973) was 97, when the Enterprise was 98. |

Hi all, Many thanks for your help so far. I checked out both "Marlin" and "Sailfish" but they appear to be much larger. The Sailfish has a cabin!. The boat is located in Mudeford, Christchurch, UK. here is another pic.
