Does anyone else out there have a Parker 404 or know
anybody with one? They're quite rare and It would be great to have the chance to discuss rigging, racing and handling etc with another owner. Please get in touch if you have any info! Thanks T |

Thanks very much dave.blakesley. I am afraid I am a bit out of the loop and I don't know who Olly is or what "ferry" is. If you could let me know how to get in touch with Olly that would be great!
Thanks again T |

Olly Love is a member of the forum. His email address is on his profile so I am sure he won't mind me posting it in here, olly_love 'at' hotmail.com.
The Ferry is an abreviation for the sailing club 'Felixstowe Ferry'. I was confused the first time I heard it too! Welcome to the forum. I hope that your questions get answered! |

Yep, that's right. There are not very many of them, mine's sail number 14 I don't know how high they go (olly?). I heard that they were prototypes and the class never went into full production but I don't know the full story.
It's a funny boat in some ways it had a modern skiff deck but a symmetric kite when all other boats were going asymmetric. It also has the biggest rudder I have ever seen on a dinghy not sure why.. |
