Not planning on going this year.
Dont need to buy anything and Mrs Craiggo doesnt seem too keen. Miss Craiggo still requires three sleeps during the day but only seems capable of sleeping at home! so the prospect of carry a screaming 1yr old around doesnt fill me with excitement. Perhaps next year ! |

I've spent the money it would have cost to get there and get in (plus some more...) on a Firefly rudder blade that Alan Powell is making for me. Looking forward to getting that more than I'm going to miss the show!

I would see you lot at the Y&Y stand at 12, but as previously mentioned, I'm on the B14 one then.

Well I'm back met Webmuppet and Chas505, hung out at Y&Y met Mark
Jardine, not a total t**ser at all, very nice chap. Met ex windsurfer folk Johnny Hutchcroft and Slimey Eeles on the Bladerider stand, bothered Mike Lyons on the Blaze stand, hung out on the contender stand for ages looking for females and saw none, that wing wang was obviously hiding from me. Busy show, well worth the trip as always, saw the 505, wrestled with the thought of just going sod it and buying an RS800, they've got one in stock and I'm getting worried about not having a boat for the start of another season. I looked at that boat for ages, and maybe it's because I've got a bit more experience now, but I just get the feeling we could just step in that and make it happen. As against the 505 which is a veritable plummers nightmare with ropes and controls everywhere. If I dont get any joy with the Alto delivery date, I think that's what I might do. I'm getting jumpy now, it was mild I got back, the kiters are out I've been in a room full of boats and I haven't got one to play with.... |

Sorry guys, i did go but my daughter was not being helpfull!! I was not really impressed with the show th. I was hoping to find some good value kit, unfortunately i noticed a few things more expensive then elsewhere. I did however manage to get two trailer wheels for £33 - Bargin!! Until you add in the entry fee, fuel costs etc.!!!! The 505 was the boat of the show for me, part from the sh*te job someone had done at progripping it!! |
