Patching, second lay up to profile the edges, seem taping and finally
hardware. Actually a spinnaker can be a reasonably quick process but when
you take into account that they do actually have other customers and this
time of year is perfect holiday time for employee's, all of a sudden things
take a bit longer than expected.
The question is, did they give you a date of delivery?

Mr Bax is in Australia at the 15s - you do want one of his spinnakers don't you...  Hope he does not learn about you sl*gging him off as he might get one of the boys to have a training session sticking together yours!

I'm not sure he was sl*gging him or P&B of its perhaps a bit of naivety on Alex's behalf as to how long it takes to make a non off the shelf sail!

In the new year...?  Thats a way of saying you'll get it at some point in 2009. 

If I were you or anyone else, just to avoid situations where you're left hanging, make sure they give you an exact date. Get them to agree that if you don't get it on said date that you'll get some money off.  That's not to say you'll like the date they give you but at least you know when to expect it.
