Hi, i was sailing on a class 4 yacht monday till friday, does anyone know how many miles we would have covered? Wish i'd recorded it then, now need to know milage to get on a course. Cheers Rob |

is it ur yacht master cause dont think they count racing miles i have had to count all my cruising miles and the solent is about 3.5 miles accross |

For RYA courses, they count passage miles. So Cowes to Cowes is zero. Stupid, isn't it? Class 4 you'd be doing something around 15 miles a day.

If you know the courses you did (they were on the Cowes Week website but I can't find them now), then you can calculate the distance between each of the buoys. It might be worth contacting the Cowes Week organisers to see if they could send you the courses if you don't know them.
