Dear all,
my girlfriend and me are looking for a place where we can have a nice vacation and learn/improve on sailing a dinghy. We are completely new to sailing, and are currently having our first sailing course this week, but we already love it. It' s an intensive course (5 lessons a 5 hours in a week on a standard Laser). Now there is the idea of taking a follow-up course during our next vacation, which will be in January. (We live in the northern hemisphere, and would like to get a break from winter this year). So far the idea was to go for a nice and long 3 week vacation with 1 week of sailing. Potential targets so far were South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. Searching the net, I found little information on hotels or holiday apartments with nearby sailing schools that teach you to sail something the sort of a standard Laser. What are good places or where should I look? many thanks in advance, Andreas |
