fill it with shaving foam
stick open end quietly under door whilst room is
occupied (and preferably awake)
stomp on accordion file
run

alternatively

fill a carrier bag / paper bag with talcum powder
put open end quietly under door
insert hairdryer to hole in bottom of bag
hey presto a 'sugary coating' to the whole room
if room is locked and emptym they will never sus out
how t'was done
run

piece of fish from the fishmonger
wrapped in newspaper
taped to underside of bed
takes a few days to get really bad

or

insert fresh prawns into the ends of hollow curtain
rail poles. They'll never find them
