i meant that if you had tuned the boat yourself with your gague then it wouldnt matter, but trying to copy the top boys setting i see what you mean. test it against others in your club. post up the results as it would be interesting to find out how much accuracy they do lose. |

Actually, if you keep using an old guage, as it gets older (and less accurate) then your settings will suffer accordingly, unless you get it recalibrated.
