Never done one before. Some helpful soul sailed through the side of my son's 3 month old optimist - unfortunatley it was too crowded for him to be able to say who it was. We're insured with Noble and the online claim form seemed pretty straightforward, and I'll take it in to Porter's to get a quote next week. Is it really that simple, or will it be a long drawn out ball ache to get it sorted? |

With noble it is about as straight forward as it gets. You may pay slightly
more with them for some boats but it's worth it. If I wanted cheaper I'd probably go with newton crumb but as for no hassle and pure ease and convenience I think noble have got it hands down. |

Usually pretty simple and straight forward. Put in the claim and get the boat repaired - never had a problem to be honest |

Sorry Ratty, i have to disagree with you there, Noble are just awesome. The Claim process is super easy with no hassle. I had 2 claims in 2 weeks on my 300 and they didn't make a fuss!! There must be underlying factors as to why you had an issue with them. Are you sure it wasn't the repairer that you were waiting on ?? Remember that on some policies things like sails and masts if they are over 3 years old they wont replace new for old. Nonle are the top bannana |

The one time I was considering making a claim, The responses I got were lovely and quick. The repair was only £70 in the end, so decided it wasnt worth the increased prices for the next few years.
Ratface did seem to have quite a lot of trouble with them though. Something about the Gnav track on the 300 mast being a known weak point if I remember right? |
