For a pink boat eh?

Well there was much discussion of a name both on shore and in the boat over the weekend and have decided most are unprintable!!

However, I do find the name Lily rather amusing!   I cannot see owner agreeing to this however..........?!

My husbands first boat was a yellow Miracle called Submarine, not only because of the colour but the amount of time he spent the wrong way up!! I pesonaly prefer not to get into one I wonder why?

There was a 505 years ago with a name that takes some beating - it was called 'Sailbad the Sinner'

I am about to buy a venerable Int14 (Blue)

So shall I call it Pink Toothbrush?

Any other (Clean -ish ) suggestions welcome!

Not quite the same thing but, how about a sticker on the transom that says: "My other boat is an Oppy"

Here's a cautionary tale about giving boats rude names:

We spent the winter tracking down some of the older Cherubs that we hadn't seen for a while, so we could let them know the class was going twin-wire.

Cherubs often have very silly names, but it got a bit embarrassing leaving messages on answer machines for complete strangers asking if they still owned  boats called 'Sunk to the Nuts'  'Strangely Brown' and 'Does Your Mother Know?'

We did find them, but most have had their names changed!

After all that kerfuffle  we bought a white 14 (Settle down Dr Clifford!) and have called it     "P-Chuter" - Both owners' surnames start with P and it has a spinnaker chute!

Now we are trying to get her ready for sea - Ikea furniture is easier to assemble but less fun to sail!

All right,

It's come to it .

may as well get these in now and lower the  tone

I've seen umpteen

"Cunning Stunts"

A "Cunning Linguist"

 had a "the mutt's nutts "

A "Far Canal " or two

"Vucked IfIknow"

and at least two " Joe Blobs"
