Blue looks good when new,but it fades more than red. My topper was red, but looked v. good for it's age.

Yeh i like royal blue- all new boats are red or royal blue, both look good i think, now there are sail colours to match each one, not like the random colours of past years.

Me and my Brother both have problems remembering right from left but no problem remembering port from starboard. It always makes for interesting navigation in the car. |

Oh, good. I'm not the only one with an isolated left-right problem. We have to use 'this way' and 'that way' with hand signals when I'm in the car. i've also been banned from giving intructions over the phone as well since some dinner guests got lost in 1999 (last heard of heading North from Loch Gilphead). Like you Matt, I've never suffered with port-starboard problems! |

On my boom i have stickers to make sure i'm right to tell me if im on starboard or port tack so i can make sure that i do have right of way and arent going to yell starboard for no reason !

Ever done it anyway to surprise someone? You should now and then just to keep people on their toes - and the look on their faces is usually priceless
