Just out of interest, what was the problem with it? My XM salopettes have lasted far better than a pair of Simpson Lawrence ones brought at the same time & worn for the same number of sea miles (approx 2000), which are now losing their elastic in the straps & are non-waterproof in the 'seat'. And this is in the face of outrageous abuse: we lived onboard for 9 months & never rinsed any of the kit (no spare fresh water), & never even hung them up (no wet locker on a 26 foot cat!) |

My experience also - I have a pair of fairly porous breathable hightops. Replaced with Gill ones which cost a bit more but seem to be much better value. |
