Yep I remember the Plymouth Q very well. Having seen the forecast I thought we couldn't possibly race and hit Destiny's very hard... How wrong I was!

i know a few other people who made the same mistake, i was staying at my uncles so i stayed reasonable sober hence no hangover and no feeling   halfway up the first beat!

HI, i am 17, 12.5 stone and just got rid of a 420, i am looking to sail a much faster, more complicated double handed boat but i have a very low budget

any ideas??

Yup, that's a no-brainer: second hand cherub. Get a reasonably well build one from the 90's and you can single or twin wire it.

You sound like a decent weight for a Merlin Helm.

There are some very cheap ones on the New Merlin website.... Perfect for the string Fetishist on a low budget.
