You push the seat across the boat and run round the back of the main, need very good balance but looks very cool if you can pull it off.

I only started sailing them in Easter because a friend of mine
didn't have a crew for the Europeans we fell out after that so I was a floating crew and sailed for anyone who needed me at an open. At da mo I'm helming Slick Chick in my clubs Frostbite series but I'm like you and a bit small for the boat so my nice crew takes the mainsheet for me so I don't dunk her! sometimes! Which one did you sail? Edited by Binky |

i was sailing oystercatcher with nick!! but same thing, sort of fell out so i am back to single handers!! (i seem more successful in singlehanders!) had a great time at the javelin events though, was really good experience aswell and learnt so much! plus the people were realy cool!
i know what u mean about the main!!! get's a bit heavy after a while! Edited by sailor girl |

what does that say for us moth sailors then??? am i like my boat, carbon based, fast and way cool? id have to agree though if you know someone (think of a friend) and then think of their boat you usually can see evidence of their personality in it, be it the class or just features. The prime example being the solo as previously mentioned, there is definetly a stereotype attached to certain classes, drascombe, wayfarer, folkboats
