Got to work today (school in NW London) to find it still open. They have just closed after 2 hours of "lessons". Shame they didn't close it at 7.30 when I started! Oh well can go home shortly. |

I would just like to lodge a formal complaint about the wind here in Sussex (particularly WWSC) on Sunday 11th March in the morning. The gusts were absolutely hideous and from any direction across an arc of 120 degrees. I stood absolutely no chance when single handing my Osprey and got very wet and hot indeed. What's the point in trying to enjoy yourself if the weather is going to do that sort of thing? The Met Office should be hauled over the coals for this sort of shoddy weather delivery. Thank you for your patience. Normal service will now be resumed.

And I would like to back up Pierrre's complaint with a grudge of my own: how do you expect me to do some constructive work when the weather is so nice outside? I have spent my entire morning washing, servicing and oiling our bikes, then repaired some old inner tubes and I'm currently looking for another excuse to stay outside. It's simply not fair, that's all!
Here's a pic taken in my garden 10 minutes ago, just for Blobby.

I would like to lodge a complaint about the wind being perfect for sailing the Blaze on Sunday the 11th March but I had family duties to attend to in the morning and was PRO in the afternoon so could not sail.
PS Nice pic BnS |

Always the way with the weather. Nice sum shine, force 3 on the east coast, and I was sat inside on a course on Sunday. Hope to be out this weekend though.

Got a bit of a tan yesterday! From sanding my foils in the garden, yes, it was a homework excuse.

What sanding your foils is homework or sanding them is an excuse to not do your homework?
