Is any one interested in joining the two projections already at SCYC yacht club, or Abersoch during Rybrooks Abersoch Keelboat Week 2015?

Cheers, will have a chat with 1 sails next week. Hopefully getting the boat out next month to give it some tlc ready for the spring. Will play with rig once back in the water. We managed a mid fleet 7 th on boxing day with 3 on board. Found it really hard to stay close to the 6 melges 24's!more practice needed.

Loos gauge PT-2M figures:
Lighter to moderate winds we used 27 for the shrouds 23 for lowers Breezy 30 shrouds, 26 lowers - you need to keep an eye on the pre-bend to take some power out of the main, probably about 60mm at half-way up the mast. This however depends on the sailmaker! From memory the D2's are as little as 9 or 10. We used Hydes, but we would as we are distributors in Scotland. They have made a lot of sails for Projections and they are quick! Kevlar is probably the best choice (DP X-Tech). Get a quote from your local distributor. Brilliant boat, you are going to have fun... Hi,
As Winge said, we've just bought a Projection and racing out of Levington. Does anyone have any advice on rig tension? Also, we're possibly looking into a new Main, again, any advice would be great, ie price, material or if anyone has a decent used one for sale? |

There are still two here on the Forth - still east coast albeit a bit further up, however we have our P762 GBR7636R up for sale. After seven years of brilliant fun it has to make way for a bigger boat! Details on Apollo Duck or pm me.

Two at West Mersea, Bananaman, and ex Quiet Tango, and one at Heybridge Basin called Bandit. Not sure if there are any others left it would be nice to know....
Several went to Muritz lake in Germany at a place called Robel a few years ago. They were being very carefully maintained and raced by some very keen guys. If they came back onto the market they would be pretty good buys as they were being really cosseted at no little expense...
