I wonder if it could serve as a "light-air-weapon" at least?
It reminds me of the Dutch Hornet Sailors putting racks and twin trapezes on their boats to follow the "Skiff fashion" in the early 2000 years...

I've pictures and comments from people who sailed this at Torbole and...well, the best one could say was tht this represents and interesting cul-de-sac. But - as we all know, when taking an exam (and what is a set of Trials OTHER than an on-water exam) surely the first rule has to be to 'answer the question'.
Mach 2 did answer questions, a number of them, but they were not the questions being set by ISAF! D

I guess this would
be one for David Henshall I guess, as it pretty much marks the end of
widespread dinghy development in Germany: https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/mader-mach2-skiff-jolle-2-mann-2-trapeze-sonst-wie-fd/1851928010-211-10648bay-kleinanzeigen.de) |
