From Street view, LP were round the back, there was never anything much visible from the road: |

There is a set of photos of Long Buckby on Google, one of the pictures taken 9 days ago, shows loads of launch trolleys and a skip full of white plastic.
If you back out on satellite View, you can fly over the sites. |

Saw that, and some boat shaped objects as well.

I know the plan was to move laser production from the uk to their new ( now closed ) factory in Portugal because of the possible problems re brexit. . But no knows or is willing to say what is the real situation.
But for for sure Rasty will have plan to protect the the only thing he cares about, maximising his profits

I think you'd need someone who has worked there to say what was Maclaren, what LP etc. |

The Long Buckby Station Works site is availble for rent on Rightmove at £1667 pcm.. My guess is if LPE haven't left the site yet they are probably in the process of doing so.

Seems incredibly cheap for a 9 acre site with a large factory and offices.

Laser: £3867
ILCA: £6850
Easy choice I guess for most club sailors.

Only evidence I have managed to find so far regarding boat building at Long Buckby, is, they started a new production manager in August, circa £55,000.
