Just had 'Doom bar' on draught for first time, you wouldn't think it was same drink compared with bottles and cans.

My fave draught beer is Timothy Taylors Landlord, in cans, Pedigree or Ruddles County*. The problem with most cans is they are 'draught flow'. 'Bottle conditioned' beers are inevitable different from draught or canned as the final fermentation is in the bottle. I may be a philistine but I actually prefer non-draughtflow cans to bottle conditioned beer. Good, well kept, draught is unbeatable though.
* Nowt wrong with Doom Bar mind you Edited by Sam.Spoons - 07 Feb 20 at 11:25pm |

@Sam, ever tried Hopbacks Summer Lightning? 1st pint of the evening, delicious, 2nd pint also terrific. 3rd pint is still a pleasure. 4th - oblivion.

Ooh that sounds nice, but, I tend to prefer weaker beers TBH, if anybody made a 3% bitter that tasted good I'd drink it.

Not going in pubs at the moment, not that I did much anyway, so needs to be cans or bottles...

Curious Brew.. Lager and IPA with a hint of champagne. Nothing tastes quite like it, so quite literally the champagne of lagers.

Macky & Vimto? Why would I? last I looked I still had a willy.
I assume by Macky you're referring to Mackeson, can't recall the last time I drank that and I certainly wouldn't have poluted it with Vimto. Do you like Dubonnet and lemonade as well? |
