Any body else longing for a decent SW breeze, all we seem to get are variations on an Easterly since the start of the season. to date I can remember 2 SW above force 1 this year.

Atlantic low coming in later this week - but it might top out for some boats n' folks out there.
I know what you mean though.... there's only been two Wednesdays so far when FOMO has kicked in and I've had a pang of regret for delaying a boat purchase by another summer.

It's me.. I've got a boat that needs wind... Normally I sail boats and do well when it's light, so we get windy.. now I need windy for my trapezing and we're getting this North & East crap, week in week out. I've totally jinxed it, sorry.

I was out Saturday, no wind at ground level, but was getting a draught in the top of the sail, just enough to ghost along, that and a couple of 5 mph gusts at ground level.
Wind indicator on bottom of mast was just rotating, mast head indicator was only reliable hint. |

Drifter on Sunday at the flash but had a couple of decent (ish) sails in Holyhead bay last week in 6-10 knots despite it being N-NE. Can't complain up here in t'North....

Been pretty lucky at Wilsonian SC on the Medway in Kent. The light easterly has been beefed up by a bit of sea breeze most days. 10 Mustos there now BTW
