Topic: Apollo Duck free ads Posted: 10 May 18 at 2:40pm |
I have just tried to place a wanted ad for some ISO sails on the Duck only to find my free ad tokens have mysteriously disappeared. They have not answered my email request and the phone goes to answer phone. Their T&Cs say the do not provide support for free ads. The tokens are apparently, to prevent businesses using free ads rather than paid ads but I'm sure I had 80 tokens left before I tried to place those wanted ads and I am not a business. Anybody throw any light?

ebay is getting almost unusable (see my rant on the 'ebay seller fees' thread below this one). Now Apollo Duck seem to have decided that 8 ads is as many years makes you a business seller........

Use the dinghies and dinghy bits Facebook group - it’s run by people who really have no interest in making money from it or preventing genuine peer-to-peer selling. Nearly 23,000 members - most of which have been qualified as genuine by the admins.... although there’s still some inevitable dross which slips the filters!
