a poor excuse these days though as the shipping is almost always banded according to price. Some online retailers have a shipping cost shown on the website, it ain't rocket science, I try to avoid dealing with those who keep it hidden.

with regard to my point about the choice of  delivery method  price might not be a factor but   when you  want it by can be a factor ...

Fair enough but my point is that it's dead easy to have a list of delivery options with the cost accessible somewhere on the site like this https://www.mailspeedmarine.com/delivery.
Spice 346 "Flat Broke"
Blaze 671 "supersonic soap dish"
Supernova 395 "dolly the sheep" (now sold but considering a second (mk3) Blaze as her replacement)

You are right but it doesn't prevent them charging an admin fee as long as it's the same for all methods of payment.

"From Saturday you should no longer be charged a fee for opting to pay by credit or debit card but companies will still be able to add booking or admin fees as long as they also apply to other forms of payment."

Went to the Dinghy show today and no problems or admin fee, the ticket price was what you paid.

Considering the weather over the last week a good show and busy today
