The cost of an RS21 including a genneker and road trailer is about £31,600, the Elite complete with a road trailer about £38,500

So RS think that the purchase cost can be off set by charter fees. How much would the club charter fee need to be to make it viable for a club to buy one or several?

I assume that any club thinking of buying one or two would not be borrowing money to do so.
How many clubs have £30-60,000 in the bank? I'd assume that the only one that do are on the Solent and are using London money. However there is always Salcombe........ 

I think that we are more than happy with our Yawls ... and we can pull up our centreplates when we run aground  

I think I would be looking at a VX1 if I had the dosh
