What is the best way to get salt-encrusted corrosion out of a sailing top zip? Soaking in hot water and dry lube have failed....

And when slider is corroded away  with salt , has anyone found one of the retro fit slider solutions to work and if so which , my magic marine bouyancy aid slider given up life

 in that case you may as well just make up a solution of  acetic  or  phosphoric acid and soda stream them
