Church ! now your talking, my club sails saturdays because of church on sunday.
My club has a fund from somewhere that is ring fenced purely for encouraging women into sailing,
not 100% on this but I think it's something like "This girl can"

yep.... race, gender, class... about time a frankenboat thread got onto religion.  

Well I guess if your sailing club is going to get associated with feminist hashtags, then "thisgirlcan" is a shed-load better than "metoo"

Many clubs have a gender bias - the women's changing rooms are frequently smaller than the men's. Often four or six of us in there at the same time is too much. And then there's the icy blast and being on full view when the door opens...
