John Adam Windpilot

   Some time ago I acquired a John Adam WindPilot and I fitted it to my Puzzle 36 for the voyage from Croatia to the UK. I had little opportunity to use it as for the majority of the time the winds, if any, were unfavourable but it worked well when I did. Even crossing the Bay of Biscay there was no chance of using it as it was as flat as a pancake with zero wind.

As my long voyage days are over I have no need of the Windpilot but I have no idea of its value. Its in great condition and all the parts are there with the exception of the fixing bolts. You can see the item here:
