Hi all can anyone recommend an insurer for our dinghy. it is not worth a great deal probable about £900 for it all including the trailer but we need insurance for the club etc..

Pretty much any of them would be able to help. I use GJW. Check the small print for what you get for your money, as it will vary, especially on how old kit can be for new for old cover.

Also consider what level of cover you need, as some will do different prices depending on whether you want to race or travel away from your one club. Also you may be able to get third party only cover if you are willing to take the risk of theft or damage to your boat.
Names such Bishop Skinner (Bluefin), GJW, Towergate, Noble, Newton Crum are some of the main dinghy insurers but google dinghy insurance and compare prices and terms. Edited by patj - 26 Mar 16 at 7:37am |
