The boat has come home for the winter ( can't find anywhere in Norfolk close enough to home to sail through the winter ) and the cover needs a good clean. Covered in green stuff.
What is the best stuff to clean the cover with ? Thanks |

I lay the cover on the ground and use a pressure washer.

You can also use the spray that the diy shops sell for removing mould from walls. Good at getting rid of the green mould provided that it is all washed off afterwards.

You could give it to a sailmaker to put in their big washer/dryer machine!

Cif and a scrubbing brush. Rinse off.

I've used domestic detergents, hosepipe and a stiff brush in the past.
Whatever cleaning method is used, it'll likely need re-waterproofing afterward, unless its PVC of course, in which case the cleaning will be easier too! |

Thanks for that suggestion; one concern, does this product bleach the colour out of the cover ?
