Yep- used it 3 times this year, poor return on investment for £200 a month marina fees.
And buying a boat- are you and rodders offering 1/16th scale models for the bath yet? |

What the Bendytoy?
I have dabbled with being boatless before mate, and basically it leads to doing silly things. Best to stay avec bateau. You know what you have to do. |

Think I might have sold my main boat today - sensible decision now we're restricted to school holidays, but still feels a bit weird- Boatless for the first time in 27 years. 😱

I wouldn't trust myself to sail close enough to another dinghy's mast tip to lift it!

Thanks John, it's getting better. I am working on the big boat, climbing ladders and crawling about ok. Just hope I'm well enough to sail next weekend ...... Fingers crossed,

You have my sympathy Gordon.....it happened to me some years ago when my children were small. I thought my working life was over. Pain so bad I was offered morphine! But, you know it cleared up and never came back so there is hope!

You wouldn't wish it on anybody ...... I have never experienced pain like it .... My other half says it's not as bad as childbirth though!
A mix of cocodomol and iboprufen seem to be working; hoping to be fit for Bart's Bash!

A great day turned into a crap day!
Having a blast in my Supernova between races at Sailfest, ran aground at speed! Spectacular pitch pole but no obvious damage so sailed on and completed the weekend. Since then I have suffered with horrendous sciatica; missed the Inlands last week, spent the day in A&E, and the doctors think it was the capsize that started it all off. now that's what I call a crap day!
