The Black Merlin photo has the beer token for me so far. What's the news on the Icon Stand?

I had a good look at the Icon and a good chat with the lovely lady there. There seemed to be a sort of sealed bid system working for the price of the boat, which was disappointing because we were pretty keen, but if don't want to be in a guessing game.

Speak to Blaze through the Icon Class thread. As I understand it the sealed bid was for the boat on the stand. But I am sure Rodney Cobb at Suntouched or Mike at Cirrus will sell you a boat and be more than happy to give you a price. Sail the boat, its great.

I'm hoping we will get a demo boat at Hunts for a couple of weeks. I think it could go really well there. Now Er Indoors has bought a new boat I will be looking for a crew.

Ha, funny, I only said to Louise this afternoon, just think two more hours (it was about 4)and we'd be packing up at the Dinghy Show to come home should be back by 9 or 10, how much I miss all that - Not. So much more pleasant being billy bunter.. Hope you had a good show, you looked busy every time I was in the area. Edited by iGRF - 02 Mar 14 at 11:38pm |
