Yep, it looks like the Punk being discussed in the other thread, but it will be interesting to see the production version photos from the dinghy exhibition, it'll be even more interesting to get a ride in one.
Good luck to all involved!

... so have we seen the first of the 'Zero Box Class' designs to be announced. Or is that just a pithy industry rumour with no legs?

I love rumours, but I particularly hope this one is try, the last 'punk' rumour had legs so you have a lot to live up to now YW !
What would be the size of the box? Punk/D Zero dims ? Have to say it looks pointy upwind and did the video imply it was pulling away upwind?

Looks a bit wet and hard work in those mid wind conditions. Finn looks nice though!
Here we go again. Anyone remember the 100 / D one thread .....................

I have no such thing... I have no dog in this fight. But rather than having two animals maul each other over the scraps off the Laser/Solo table, why not team up? A box class celebrates the differences, whilst embracing the similarities... seems like a no-brainer from the outside and provides healthy, consumer focused, competition. well hasn't the 'RS50' been given the title RS-Zero ... that was another rumour going around last week.
Although as an everyday boat for everyone, I thought RS-Whole could be used. It would go well with the RS-Cat. |
