I was very impressed with the wooden clinker n12. Impressive craftsmanship. As was the ok with wooden decks.

The icon looked good, Devotis input seems to have put the icing on the cake.

Some smart looking Moths. How much is a state of the art one now?

Some of the radio boats looked pretty sleek.

What were your favourites?

Didn't buy anything myself, but was very impressed with how child friendly all the stands were. Things started well when we managed to get in the car park at 11.45. As soon as we entered we had the treasure hunt cards for kids. Most stands had a healthy stock of sweeties. The Yachts and Yachting stand even let my girls take a rest in their Optimist

I'm here to tell you, that boat contains more trouble than you can ever imagine.

My high points, the Red Rocket, Thunder Road (but don't tell him), the Rig on that Girls 49er is well sorted, a Gucci Cherub (don't tell them either), the laminate on that boat delivery advert boat, an unbelievable demo of a cross between spinning jenny and the ark on steroids, (a Merlin auto canting rig), the new Supernova, and a cleat Clamcleat have developed for kitesurfing I'd no idea they'd done but it'll make a great trapeze cleat.

Loved the Goacher GP14 on the Harken stand, but I would say that.  http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/jpeKIkIAi9sLcns9kb0fONMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink

Loved the Exocet Moths and the International 12. Opposite ends of the dinghy racing spectrum, but both wonderful.

I did see iot, and it looked pretty cool, too. But for me the Exocet edged it.

Who discovered that a bowsprit for the wand was allowed in the rules?
