Robert scheidt looks to be returning to the Laser class to challenge for dominance with  once again. Should make it even more interesting as it will be his home games. Apparently he will be 43 in 2016 what are his chances of winning ?

Is slingsby going to be in lasers 2016, I read somewhere he might be moving to finn ?

he never went away, it's just that this time around ISAF have decided to axe keelboats and keep the air rowing in (after a phenemonal sh*t fight with Mary Poppins).  I guess he's too small for a Finn, so the Laser is the only option.

All credit to him though, you're right to title him 'legend'.

I know he never went away, I couldnt believe he only got a bronze in the star at London, with bruno prada and Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson a Silver, I was sure either of those two pairings was going to win gold. I meant he was returning to the Laser class.
He is going to need very good fitness to keep up with the young boys.

To be fair the young guys need very good fitness to keep up with the young guys, but sailing isn't all about fitness is it.

Rather more than sitting on the trampoline, especially as he was sailing with his daughter, whereas most likely all the other crews were 6 foot men...
