I think our whole extended family may be doing Weymouth - possibly 7 boats and a windsurfer (if they're taking them) with a bit of luck. 3 generations of the one family racing each other!!!
Any links to the accomodation booking please?

Accommodation booking comes after entry, ie priority to competitors. The event is gaining real momentum, we have had lots of interest including 20 classes who are looking make this one of their key focusses. For classes who support the event, there is also chance to have a shore side display (mini Dinghy Show). There will also be other shoreside activities and trial sails - so something for all the family.

One of the major reasons why I've never completed in getting a cat a couple of years ago... a complete change on social groups. I don't really understand it, cats have PYs just like monohulls. Shame- a cat ticks the easy sailing / with fast speed boxes that so many sailors seem to want... entire classes have been developed for sailors wanting an 'MPS which doesn't fall over at the slightest windshift'... when in truth, a cat like a Shadow or even Topper 14ft jobby, would easily fit the bill.
