was that "3 project xs" price all in- sails, covers, trailers? And I wonder if the "2 and a bit" will be "ready to roll"?

wonder if this will go the same way as the 400, with the sail material changed but the sail shape left as is? See they're sticking with the B14 dagger board (which quite possibly had been taken out of Taser itself)!
Edit: surely given Regulation 20, which allows events to require event advertising and bow numbers in the forward 25% of the hull length, there's little point in having the national flag near the bow?

Block arrangment change on boom suggests a change to off boom sheeting which would bring it logically inline with other twin trap classes, maybe trying to position itself between the 29er and the 49er and FX, rather than keeping its mixed crew high performance low difficulty appeal

Looking at those pics of the 800... is a square top main just a variation on a Gaff rig?

The picture states that the sail cloth will be the same, just different coloured threads. Its basically just a new mainsail shape, with same sail area, so unlikely to open the class up to bigger sailors. More of an attempt to keep it looking current. In principle given that the sail area is the same, the transfer to the new rags should be smooth as there will be little benefit. Biggest thing that might alienate existing owners is the change to a dagger rudder as this might provide a real benefit.

Worth the investment IMHO- the dagger rudder on the MPS was mint, I have to say switching back to swinging stocks was noticeably 'sh*tter' after it.

Penny drops. It's the main and rudder from the 900, isn't it?
Edit: and the hull colpour options too- they must have bought a joblot of the gell coats!

Would the square top not allow you to de-power it making the new configuration more biased towards lighter sailors? Not really over canvassed now is it!
