DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand, Guernsey will once again be the finish of a RORC offshore race, this time the Morgan Cup Race. Competitors will finish in St Peter Port under the historic Castle Cornet which overlooks the deep water harbour, a natural anchorage used since Roman times, before they get to sample local Channel Islands hospitality. Navigating strong tides around Alderney and Les Casquets, then tackling the rocky west coast of Guernsey and passing the Les Hanois Lighthouse on the exposed south western tip of the island, this will be a challenging and demanding race for any competitor.
