DESCRIPTION:The opening race of the domestic RORC offshore season will be a cross-Channel dash to Le Havre. Le Havre is the second busiest port in France and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a strong naval history. It was also host for the sailing events for two Olympic Games in 1900 and 1924. A popular race, this is a fantastic opportunity for Rolex Fastnet Race competitors to get ahead and earn early qualifying miles for their entry while allowing them to size up the possible competition. The addition of marks/virtual waypoints to the course means this is a tactical warm-up for the season.
