DESCRIPTION:The East Coast Region of the Old Gaffers Association organise this annual race around the island in the Walton Backwaters (known to Arthur Ransome fans as 'Secret Water'). Small gaffers and modern dinghies take part, with a local Mirror fleet too.

A social evening, singsong, meal, treasure hunt and paper boats usually get fitted in at some stage too.

Camping available.

High Water around 2pm.
