I would like to thank Lee Harrison, Marconi Sailing Club and the many helpers, who managed to assemble eleven Dart 16s at their club and run a great event, even with the unhelpful weather. My two children, Megan and William sailed together (not a match made in Heaven!) and are gradually telling the various funny events that happened over an enjoyable weekend. I hope this event is the beginning of a series of junior cat events. I also found it very refreshing to go to a club that supports and encourages Catamaran sailing.

Thank Stewart, I wasn't there but the pictures look like the Juniors had a great time.

I'm sure there will be another event next year.

Dates for next year are already being finalised. More details will be available at this years sailboat.

We hope to repeat the success of Marconi and expect to also add some additional dates.

Already some of the winners from last years event have been trying their hand at Spitfire sailing

alongside the RYA squad
