After selling the car I should never have bought after my accident in February, I have picked up a real steal.
2000 Escort Van 1.4 petrol with 45000 genuine miles on the clock.

Should be a reasonably good tow van for events although a little lacking in power maybe.

Haha that's very true. I'm only 22 so hopefully the days of needing more than two are a fair way off yet :)

Ah, reminds me of the days I had my Austin Maestro Van. The engine was simple enough to do all the repairs myself (which I needed to do most journeys) and it had a mattres in the back (can't think why...).

It cost me the princely sum of 350 quid and lasted 7 years! One thing I know is that the mileage wasn't genuine when I bought it as it registered Paris to Lyon as 3 miles... Ermm

Not bad.
Just watch the brake pads, I had a 1.4 hatchback years ago and it used to eat discs and pads. (not through bad driving either Confused)

I had a 1600 and it was gutless as you like... you'll just have to leave early to get anywhere on time with a 1400!

At 22 my Laser circuit tow car was a BMW 2002tii - great for burning off other cars at the lights while towing 2 lasers.
