Now that looks good. Liking it in black.

That looks absolutely great. I know you need the non-slip and everything but, for a show boat, that jars a bit though.

Presumably a brand new boat with a paint job like that is designed to make as big a visual impact as possible? Not meeting that it is going to a show specifically
Otherwise it'd just be.

Could be wrong, but wasn't that the Nacra F16 not the 17? You would kind of expect it if it was the 16 as the Viper has been refined for a while.

"First event with the Nacra F16 against International viper team with Olympic sailors such as Carolijn Brouwer giving us a hard time at the Thailand regatta. Not yet found the winning pace yet but we are benchmarking against the viper that exist already for 4 years. This is great and they will bring us up to the appropriate speed in the class and beyond. The pioneering part on how to set the trim right is fun to do and this place is great to sail, everybody should come here next year! The Nacra F20 Carbon is leading after 6 races!! Great people at Varuna Yachtclub!!" -- Off the Nacra FB page.

It's a nice prototype !
Too bad it broke its mast on the first day of the trial.
It happens with weak carbon mast when hitting the water capsizing ....

Dont't think there was any weakness in the mast....more likely they broke when it dug into that notorious sandbank...think the only boat I havent broken a mast there was a Europe!

Has anyone got an official price on this yet?

Guessing based on the Nacra F16 RRP with Carbon Mast it will be more than the Marstrom Tornado.

I like the photo which Winning crew Phil Trinter shares a winning smooch with Chrissy, his bride of five months.
