By the response to my first message I guess nobody's heard of my old "Seagull" dinghy.  It's a cruiser and from what I read, wouldn't look right beside most of the boats going around, however it's mine and I'm proud to own it.  Can anyone tell me where I could get cheap sails made?  I guess it'll be a case of giving dimensions to the maker as I don't know what type of sail would do it.  Unlike new boats where you order by their name.

One of the longer established sailmakers might have a pattern somewhere. Jeckells used to be a popular choice for the budget classes so they'd probably be my first call: I think they have patterns for all sorts of old stuff.

I don't know which sailmakers are cheap right now.

I must have missed your 1st posting somewhere. The only Seagull I know of was a small cabin yacht designed by Ian Proctor, I'm afraid. Not the one you mean?

It might be worth trying http://www.cvrda.org.uk - www.cvrda.org.uk and seeing if anyone there knows.
