Hi all,

I've got some sponsors logos on my sail which have started to peel off, they are made of vinyl and the sail is mylar, I think it's probably just the age of the sail as I have two sails and it's only the old sail that is causing a problem, but I just wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem and if so, what adhesive did you use to bond it back on?

something that melts the mylar film would be good ;-)

Can you use one something like EVOstick that you would use for progrip....that has a certain degree of flexibility that would hopefully help.

Yeah...... I'm not too keen on trial and error for that very reason, knowing my luck I'll dissolve the sail leaving an undamaged sticker behind!

Personally I'd tell the sponsor the sail is way past its "use by" date and you need a new one with nice new stickers, but I'm sure you've thought of that already.Wink

Pritt stick?

Peel the logos off? If they have been there that long, surely the sponsor has got his money's worth?
