Smile Hi, I sail a laser radial but I am a bit small for it at the moment, I struggle in stronger breeze, but if anyone has any tips for laser sailing I would be greatful! Smile Tongue

Pop on over the the Laser Forum which is a Laser specific place and has a lot of information on it.
 
As for your current question. If you are a little small then you will need to make up for this by being more athletic around the boat and depowering early.
 
Rule of thumb for Laser sailing is kepp pulling kicker and cunningham on until you cannot handle it any more then ease the kicker (but never less than 'block to block', the block on the end of the boom touching the block on the traveller) and try to get more cunningham on. If you find you are doing this in comparitively light winds compared to others then you must be way to small for the boat and might want to consider going for a Topper or a 4.7 until your are closer to the right size.
 
One other useful tip is never pull the outhaul on so the foot so the sail is really tight (i.e. no curve in it at all). This just makes it act like a barn door. Always keep a small amount of curve, this will help keep the flow of air attached to the sail and make it easier to control.

Oh wow jon emmett! :O lol yeah I'll check that out! :)'by the way, do you remember a few years back you did an open meeting at midland sailing club in Birmingham? Well you told a guy to go for a run after sailing to stop pain

Lol John :) I sail at midland sailing club in Birmingham, we can't sail many classes there, the fastest we have is a fireball, at a push :/
